Una delegación de AEIM, formada por Carles Alberch (Presidente) y Alberto Romero (Secretario General) participará en la 12ª Conferencia Internacional de Coníferas (International Softwood Conference, ISC), que se celebrará en Hamburgo los dias 5 y 6 de Octubre, 2017.
Se espera la participación de alrededor de 120 delegados de 14 países. Esta Conferencia es la reunión anual más importante a nivel mundial por lo que respecta al comercio de maderas.
AEIM ha presentado un informe de mercado con los datos de 2016 y previsiones de importación de resinosas aserradas para 2017 y 2018 que está a disposición de las empresas asociadas. Asimismo ha presentado un cuestionario con las cifras de producción, exportación y consumo doméstico, según los datos facilitados por el MAPAMA.

About 120 delegates from 14 countries are expected to attend. This Conference is the most important annual meeting in the world regarding the timber trade.
AEIM has submitted a market report with 2016 data and import forecasts for sawn hardwoods for 2017 and 2018 that is available to member companies. It has also presented a questionnaire with the figures of production, export and domestic consumption, of softwoods according to the data provided by Ministery of Agriculture and Environment
